Sapota or Chikoo is a well-liked yummy tropical fruit, round or oval in shape. It is lusciously sweet with smooth or grainy texture and light musky zest. It is a fine supply of vitamin c, a and some of the b-complex vitamins like folate, niacin (b3) and pantothenic acid. It has minerals such as iron, copper, phosphorous, potassium, manganese and zinc.
